Gyprocking walls and ceiling done!

So the main gryprock has been down to walls and ceilings, only the cornice to go. Also work continues on the paneling of the front of the house.

Eaves, Insulation & Gyprock delivered

So interesting week with Eaves on bottom floor done, blocking installed into walls, insulation installed into walls and parts of the roof and also Gyprock delivered to the house.

Tiling done!

So tiling has finally been completed, bumped into the SS and was told that everything is now booked right through to April. We should be at lockup by 21/3 which is great news.

Tomorrow the carpenter arrives to do the eaves, fix framing for council inspection on Wednesday.

Ground floor tiles

Ground floor tiles are being installed today....Finally! Pictures to follow later.

No pictures for this as the tilers came and did half the job and disappeared for the rest of the week much to my disappointment.

Meeting with SS

So today i met with our SS just to go through a couple of things that needed to be looked at. We focused on the some of the electrical and also the laying of Air Conditioning ducting. Our SS explained why the changes were needed and we are now happy and satisfied with the reasoning. It was also a good time to ensure that the SS paperwork had some of the other changes so that moving forward it all goes smoothly.

I managed to run some speaker wire through the home theatre walls and to the dining and alfresco for in ceiling speakers. This saves money then having someone else do it for 10 times the price. Hopefully the tiling is done today or tomorrow with eaves done by end of week ready for the start of Gyprocking.
